Miki Tramer, Nirosoft’s vice president of sales and marketing, told WDR that the system will be based on the compnay’s NIROBOX pre-engineered concept. “the state-of-the-art system is to be built in Israel and will consist of three NIROBOX SWRO trains. Each train will be furnished with NanoH₂O SWRO membranes, inge UF membrane pretreatment, Danfoss iSave energy recovery devices and a post-treatment system,” he said.
According to Tramer, the $3 million project will be funded by the Chilean Ministry of Public Works as part of an initiative to bring potable water to rural communities.
