LG Chem has globally accrued more than 1,400 million liters per day (MLD) of contracted seawater replacement RO project since the establishment. Along with this achievement, LG Chem won the most new seawater RO membrane projects of capacity more than 100 MLD for last three years, with an accumulated total of 1,400 MLD.
Since 2012 LG Chem has been awarded almost 100 large SWRO replacement projects including Las Palmas III in Spain, Palmachim in Israel, Pembroke in Malta, Mostaganem in Algeria, and Barka in Oman.
LG Chem has been awarded the replacement projects in recognition of the excellent permeate quality, low pressure requirement and low capital cost for multi pass SWRO systems. With its superior performance, LG Chem became a leading contender in the seawater RO membrane for both new and replacement market.
To accelerate the growth momentum of SWRO projects, LG Chem will be delivering innovative membrane solutions for the world’s most challenging applications and strengthen customer-focused growth strategies.
