LG Water Solutions New Business Leader
Seungman Park has been appointed the Business Leader of LG Water Solutions, part of LG Chem from December 2017.
Mr. Park is a proven global leader with more than 27 years’ experience in the water industry. Prior to joining LG Chem, Park held the position of Global Commercial Head responsible for global sales & marketing, developing and implementing sales strategy to accelerate and deliver ongoing growth.
Mr. Park’s overall responsibility at LG Chem is to establish the water solutions business as a global leader through focusing on technology and operational excellence and evolving the business in accordance with the direction outlined in the long-term business growth and expansion strategy. He will also focus on establishing strategic customer partnerships and increasing customer preference with the new corporate slogan, ‘Responsive and responsible for your water innovation’.
LGWS Garners Recognition in the Middle East
SWCC(Saline Water Conversion Corporation) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a certificate of evaluation on LG SWRO membranes. SWCC is responsible for all seawater desalination plants in the Saudi Arabia and one of the largest and most reputable water-related government agencies in the world. After the strict evaluation process over a period of 8 months, LG SWRO membranes have been certified for use in the desalination plants that SWCC owns and operates. NWC(National Water Company), another government entity in charge of brackish water desalination in the Kingdom, awarded a certificate to LG BW400R, BW400ES, BW400R+ and BW440ES. More
