Abu Dhabi, Dec. 9 — In a significant stride towards becoming a comprehensive water solutions provider, LG Water Solutions introduced two groundbreaking product lines at the IDRA World Congress, held from December 9 to 13 in Abu Dhabi. These innovations underscore the company’s commitment to advancing water treatment technologies.
Introducing QuantumFlux™ and QuantumPure™
The first of the new offerings, QuantumFlux™ Ultrafiltration (UF) and Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Membranes, are engineered with advanced Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) chemistry through the TIPS* process. These hollow fiber membranes promise superior chemical and mechanical durability, catering to the increasing demand for reliable ultrafiltration and membrane bioreactor solutions across various water treatment applications.
The second product line, QuantumPure™ Ion Exchange (IX) Resins, includes high-performance resins such as SAC, SBA, WAC, WBA, and mixed-bed resins in multiple ionic forms. These resins are designed for applications ranging from deionization and softening to selective ion removal, offering consistent quality, excellent chemical resistance, and extended service life. The cutting-edge manufacturing processes behind QuantumPure™ resins aim to reduce maintenance and replacement costs, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.
A Comprehensive Approach to Water Treatment
These innovations complement LG Water Solutions’ existing LG NanoH2O™ RO Membrane portfolio, broadening its capabilities across the water treatment spectrum. By integrating ultrafiltration, ion exchange, and reverse osmosis technologies, LG Water Solutions is positioning itself as a trusted provider of total water solutions.
Vision for the Future
Hoon Hyung, Head of LG Water Solutions, articulated the company’s forward-looking vision: “As we look ahead to the next decade, we are excited to introduce QuantumPure™ IX resins and QuantumFlux™ UF/MBR membranes. These new products reflect our unwavering commitment to pioneering advanced water treatment technologies that address the evolving needs of our industry. With cutting-edge materials and state-of-the-art engineering, we are pushing the boundaries of water purification to deliver superior solutions.”
A Decade of Innovation and Growth
Since its inception in 2014, LG Water Solutions has rapidly ascended in the reverse osmosis membrane sector, particularly in large-scale desalination. The company’s proprietary thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) technology has set industry benchmarks for innovation and performance. As LG Water Solutions embarks on its second decade, it remains focused on driving sustainable innovation, meeting the highest quality standards, and making a positive impact on communities worldwide. This milestone reflects its enduring commitment to safeguarding water resources and providing impactful solutions.
