RO Specification Update

LG Water Solutions would like to announce a specification change to the LG BW 400 R G2 and LG BW 440 R G2 reverse osmosis (RO) membrane element models due to a revision in the calculation method of the salt rejection rates. The specification change does not reflect any modification in the materials, manufacturing process, or performance of the stated RO membrane element. The revised calculation method results from a thorough review under LG Chem’s rigorous quality management system for lean manufacturing.

The updated calculation method for RO salt rejection will use the average TDS of the feed and concentrate (brine) values instead of only the feed TDS value.

As a result, the nominal rejection rates of the stated models will be updated as follows:
